Hello | नमस्ते
I'm Kshitiz Dange
(aka Dange or KD)
Over 9+ years of experience building internal products for global organizations. Successful in launching new groundbreaking products from conception to adoption in record time. Experienced in understanding developer pain points and building tools to alleviate them. Skilled at breaking down complex technical problems into small, release-able, user valuable features. Over 4 years of experience leading cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Product, Operations, QA, Supply Chain, Customer Success, DevOps, SRE) to align with product vision and go-to-market strategy. Skilled in recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and building teams of junior to staff/principal level engineers. Experienced with leading distributed/remote teams and local teams of up to 15 ICs and conducting performance reviews leading to multiple promotions. Helping with communication skills and organizational skills.
In my spare time, I like to read about the latest and greatest in technology to keep myself updated on the current trends. Love hiking in the White Mountains of New England, traveling, working out and sipping on hazy NE IPAs and (lately) spiked seltzers. A lot of my friends and family reach out to me whenever they want advice related to tech products, and I enjoy doing the research and coming up with recommendations for them, if I don't already have them ready.

Developed and launched a tool that reduces the turnaround time for collecting patients’ data from 2 weeks to 5 mins, also bringing the operational expense of shipping down to zero.
-
Built an internal tool to make it easier for the operations team to interact with our hardware in a user friendly way
-
Created a product that helps track patients’ interaction with a wheelchair.
-
Ideated the first dual device system meant for tracking data for patients’ recovering from Stroke/partial body paralysis.
-
Deployed Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for the firmware code base.
-
Worked on the next generation of movement tracking medical devices that would replace multiple different hardware solutions with one piece of hardware. Bringing down the manufacturing cost 3x, and reduced manufacturing and testing time by 10x.
